enhancing Missouri's Instructional Networked Teaching StrategiesThe district began training Comprehensive eMINTS in the 4th grade classrooms and eMINTS4ALL in Library Media Specialists and 5th grade math positions in the Fall of 2008. Since that time, implementation of the eMINTS model has progressed into the 3rd grade classrooms at both the Granby and Triway campuses. Our hope is to continue to support the structures that have already been established and strive to adapt our practices for the 21st century learning environment.
Upon completion of the 2011-2012 school year, East Newton has chosen to implement our I.T.S. 21 training powered by the eMINTS instructional model. This year-long program will enable approximately 20 teachers per school year to begin integrating these student-centered techniques more cost effectively. |
